The Y-Age system: how to combine Aeon, Glutathione and Carnosine patches

The three LifeWave Y-Age patches each have a different focus: calm, wellbeing and skin, movement. Here is how to wear them together and on what schedule.
The Y-Age line is three LifeWave phototherapy patches with different focuses. You can wear them one at a time, but they are designed as a system in which each patch complements the others.
LifeWave Y-Age: what is this line?
All Y-Age patches use the same LifeWave phototherapy technology: they respond to body heat and reflect specific wavelengths of light. They contain no medicines or stimulants and do not enter the skin. What sets them apart is the focus the company positions each one for.
How do the Y-Age patches differ?
- Aeon — relaxation and less stress. More in “The Y-Age Aeon patch”.
- Glutathione — overall wellbeing and the appearance of skin. More in “The Y-Age Glutathione patch”.
- Carnosine — movement and fitness as a habit. More in “The Y-Age Carnosine patch”.
How to combine Y-Age patches
The company's schedule is simple: the base patches are worn more often, and Carnosine a few days a week.
- Glutathione or Aeon — 5–7 days a week.
- Carnosine — 1–3 days a week.
- On combination days — two patches on two Y-Age points, center or right.
- In the morning on clean, dry skin, for up to 12 hours; drink enough water.
How to choose your base patch
Your base patch is either Aeon or Glutathione — whichever focus matters more to you right now. If your days are a constant rush with lots of tension, start with Aeon. If you want to support your overall wellbeing and the look of your skin, start with Glutathione. Add Carnosine on days when you plan to move.
Y-Age patch placement: a sample week
- Monday–Friday: the base patch every morning, rotating points.
- Tuesday and Thursday: Carnosine is added to the base patch — two patches on two Y-Age points.
- Saturday: Carnosine together with the base patch if you have a walk or workout that day.
- Sunday: optional — the schedule allows 5 to 7 days of the base patch.
On this schedule a pack of Carnosine lasts longer than a pack of the base patch. That's normal and not a reason to wear it more often. If a week falls off track, simply go back to your usual rhythm the next morning: there's no need to make up for missed days with a double number of patches.
Common mistakes
- Putting two patches on one point instead of two Y-Age points.
- Wearing Carnosine every day instead of 1–3 days a week.
- Constantly switching base patches without giving any of them time.
- Wearing patches for longer than 12 hours.
Who is the whole system for?
People who want to try all three focuses and find out for themselves which one suits them best. After a month of regular use, it's usually clear which patch to keep as your base. To make an informed decision, note your stress levels, wellbeing and number of active days per week. If you're still choosing between different LifeWave products, “How to choose a LifeWave product for your goal” will help.
All three patches come together in the Y-Age System Kit — which makes it easier to follow the schedule for all three.
